Girl Scouts

Girl Scouts of the USA (GSUSA) is the world's preeminent organization dedicated solely to girls where, in an accepting and nurturing environment, girls build character and skills for success in the real world. In partnership with committed adults, girls develop qualities that will serve them all their lives - like strong values, social conscience, and conviction about their own potential and self-worth.

Holy Trinity's Girl Scout troop is part of the Heart of the Hudson region with more than 34,000 scouts and 15,000 adult volunteers. Girl Scouts Heart of the Hudson has as its goal to provide a consistent Girl Scout experience, one that builds courage, confidence, and character in girls so that they may make the world a better place.

The Girl Scout Promise

On my honor, I will try:
To serve God and my country,
To help people at all times,
and to live by the Girl Scout Law.

The Girl Scout Law

I will do my best to be:
   honest and fair,
   friendly and helpful,
   considerate and caring,
   courageous and strong, and
responsible for what I say and do,
and to
   respect myself and others,
   respect authority,
   use resources wisely,
make the world a better place, and
be a sister to every Girl Scout.
